Where do I seek true happiness? 

Do I look for it in the wrong places?

 

Lord, I feel that I am still far from attaining the happiness You intend for me. Cleanse my heart and mind so that I will be able to follow You and hear You one day say to me, “Blessed are you.”

How do I react to the storms I experience in life? 

Do they shake my faith or do I stay relaxed because I know that God will not let me down?

 

Lord, forgive my lack of faith and trust, and help me to learn that even in dangerous situations You are there for me.

DISCOURAGED?

Am I discouraged when I look at my faith? 

Do I expect too much and so lack realism and trust in the power of God?

 

Lord, I believe; help my unbelief. Give me more trust in Your powerful love to overcome discouragement and move on slowly but surely to where You have called me.

Lord, thank You for reminding me today that my task is to make others more aware of You and Your love through my lifestyle. Thank You for promising me so much, as long as I give You much of my time and effort. Amen.
